Dialogues with Moderators

Yeah, I read all 5 pages; it was quite engaging. But seriously, all this bickering is nothing more than a waste of time and a way to show off in debates. I just can't understand why it wasn't stopped promptly and decisively. There are rules, regulations, and guidelines, but everyone felt the need to add fuel to the fire. From my own experience, I've seen that disagreements can arise between forum members, but our debate with the opponent didn't turn into a six-month saga. He simply used his right to file a complaint with the Creator, who, in turn, explained his position to me via PM, after I also expressed my opinion to him via PM. We clarified all our disagreements with the opponent through personal communication on ICQ, and that was it! Perhaps each of us remained with our own opinion, but order on the forum was maintained, and no living (virtual) soul was drawn into this process. I think this is not the worst way to resolve such problems.
