yes, that exists, and it’s probably the biggest drawback of Heroes of Might and Magic.
but
I don’t think such peeking brings honor to that player.
I’ve never peeked myself, and I doubt that someone who peeks
will ultimately become the strongest player.

because a strong player respects their partner and themselves and wouldn’t do that, IMHO.
