“Advisable” and “mandatory” are different concepts. If a decision was made based on this, then it generally doesn't comply with the rules of this tournament.

By the way, since we're having a sort of "discussion," I also have a question. How long should we wait for a response from an opponent to an email? I'm not even the host in my game, but honestly, just sitting around doing nothing is boring. I haven't received any proposals from my opponent yet. Considering that I didn't play in the 1/32 round... in general, it's a pity to waste weeks like this:(
