Tactics for playing against Wizards.

I have a pirated copy of the game, but I also had the installation files. However, there's a problem: when I try to install the patch, it says the game isn't installed, and the patch won't install. I'd be playing with version 3.1 and everyone else a long time ago, but I can't. Maybe someone knows how to get out of this situation? :) The disc is probably pirated, which is the problem, but maybe I can find an original copy!
