Is the spell only used to resurrect golems? Does it not deal any damage to the Phoenix? But golems won't stand against phoenixes, so it's better to use ice or take another hero.
To quickly defeat phoenixes, you need something powerful and area-of-effect: in case there are no rings of ice, it takes too long to get to Meteor Shower, and then it will be really difficult - for example, on a map like Contested Island.
