Which artifacts are best to equip a hero with?

oxygen_hl, and what principle determines how bonuses from artifacts, like amulets, are applied to monsters?

To be honest, I've never tested it. I need to take a look.
But something tells me that if the bonus from the artifact is taken into account (e.g., to defense), then the amulet will also be applied. But if the artifact is overridden by a sum from another hero, then the amulet might not be applied. It would be good to check.
