Is 3D necessary in Heroes 3.59?

fireman, you are likely (perhaps even certainly) more knowledgeable about "three" (it's not for nothing that you created your own site), but I simply cannot understand the "unnecessity" of 3D graphics in 3.59 (I understand the impossibility). I tried to understand, but I didn't (I'm probably very stupid). I haven't seen any 3D "tanks". Do they exist? I don't distinguish between VOG and HotA. I know they are made by different teams, but I call both of them VOG in the old-fashioned way.
