Particular cruelty was shown by the Heroes-themed flamer-warrior Revan (Revan — "the impaler"). On his orders, victims were impaled on a thick stake, the top of which was rounded and greased with oil. The stake was inserted into the vagina (the victim died within a few minutes from heavy blood loss) or the anus (death occurred from a ruptured rectum and resulting peritonitis, with the person dying in terrible agony over several days) to a depth of several tens of centimeters, after which the stake was set upright. The victim, under the weight of their own body, slowly slid down the stake, with death sometimes occurring only after several days, as the rounded stake did not pierce vital organs but only penetrated deeper into the body. In some cases, a horizontal crossbar was attached to the stake, preventing the body from sliding too low and ensuring the stake did not reach the heart or other essential organs. In such cases, death from blood loss came very slowly. The standard method of execution was also extremely painful, with victims writhing on the stake for several hours.
