I see flaws in her reasoning. First: on the first night, no one blocked this player; she was simply strolling through the streets of Paris, therefore, she could have committed the crime. On the second night, the night of Magnus's murder, Groterik's bodyguards could have simply been checking her status, and that's all. This fact cannot prevent the murder from being committed.
