Is 3D necessary in Heroes 3.59?

Dammit, is it really still not clear that in strategies, and especially in Heroes, graphics are far from the most important thing; at least those players for whom graphics come first are, as far as I can imagine, not true lovers of this wonderful game (specifically, they play little and their gaming skill is very low).
