It's silly and wrong to ban off-topic discussions (especially when there are no insults!). I believe that various types of discussions and slight deviations into off-topic conversations are very necessary. 1) They help to distract – after all, this is a forum, not a training ground! 2) They indicate a high level of interest in the tournament. 3) They provide more food for thought about the tournament itself and its participants.
