Let's say an Orc unit A has 1000 HP and 70% damage absorption, and a Rage bonus of 500 units. Then, we can consider two scenarios:
1). Physical attack with a calculated damage coefficient of "attack-defense," where "pure" damage of 1000 units (dmg) is dealt. As a result, the Rage is completely removed, and 0.7 * 1 of the damage is blocked = 350 dmg. The final damage is 1000 - 350 = 650 dmg, leaving 350 HP.
2). Magical attack: let's say "Lightning" deals 1000 dmg to a unit with the same characteristics. The "Defense" parameter is not taken into account. The damage will be calculated in the same way. Artifacts and abilities can reduce the effect of the spell, but in this case, the calculation will be complicated by an additional parameter, but it will not significantly affect the overall picture.
Good luck :)
What you wrote is, of course, a big thank you for helping as much as you could, but it's not what I'm asking, that is, it's not relevant! There are also lost Rage points in addition to the absorbed ones. I'm asking how the calculation works and where they go. It's clear that they are lost, but always in different amounts!
