In practice, I can only take Berserkers and hope that my opponent will position their troops favorably for them. It's very difficult to win in a fair fight without half of my troops or one of the units that can be obtained for the average artifact cost. You can also try the Sylvan option, but I think it will be weak. But Barbarian-Rampart is a very good combination. There is enough money for absolutely everything, even without selling artifacts for 15,000, and we get many good attack groups (Golden Golems, Bears, Griffins, Ogres, Unique units...).
