Furthermore, "++19.3" means nothing; it's a bug in the program when calculating draws. Currently, there are clarifications regarding games where the players' colors were not specified (tournament games and Alex_R's games). So, in the near future, the Summer 2009 ranking will be slightly edited, including the "++" entries. At a minimum, the changes will not affect the top 3 positions. :) And finally... It has been suggested several times to introduce an automatic ranking system, similar to the Dreamcatcher system and the one currently being implemented on HP. Personally, I have always declined, arguing that remembering and writing from scratch in PHP would take more time than spending 12-16 hours each off-season updating the ranking in a semi-automatic mode, as is currently done. In short, what I wanted to say... I don't know, I'll think about it... Remembering programming is good, but I don't know how much time it will take. Another option is to "copy," i.e., ask Dreamcatcher for a fully ready-made ranking system and adapt it only for HW. I don't want to do that, although it is the most reasonable option. If anyone has the desire and ability, you can contact Dreamcatcher and try to implement their ready-made system for HW. Because if I start writing an automatic calculation system, I will only do it from scratch, while simultaneously studying PHP. I will start, but I might not finish...
