I chose all the rests plus one more on the block, and ended up with a scarce respawn with not a single external dwelling, but with two Dragon Utopias. The start was very tough - the air elementals weren't built, the heroes brought pixies, 3 air elementals, 5 water elementals and 20 pixies:o, not much to fight with generally. The necromancy from the zek on 112 helped a bit to break through, but at the exit from the respawn, moral wolf riders wiped out the pixies and things got really bad. I summoned the built air and water elementals, took the Inferno computer only on 121, built up to Pit Lords with a thousand, home has psychos in the citadel, I revealed three more passages and 2 external Pit Lord dwellings.
On the second, I take a Dungeon village and a Dragon external dwelling near it, a 6th level skill tree nearby. I find another Tower village, a Hive next to it. The two remaining passages are guarded by 20-49 Cyclops Kings and 20-49 Greater Liches respectively. Definitely one of these leads to Tazar, I chose the path that was more convenient to run and ran into him, but that was on the third. By the end of the second, I earn some money and build Griffins in the Castle, reveal a Dragon Utopia and a Griffin Conservatory in the snow, but I don't aim for them because it's way too far. And there aren't any more Griffin Conservatories, actually! I never took a single one for the rest of the game!
There was also a significant problem for me - there was no fighter, mostly mages were leveled, while Luck, Kalt, and Fury were either in chains or sitting as ninth heroes in castles. Mainly Labeta, Ciele, and Brissa were leveled. Labeta with expert Earth, Air, and Sorcery was preferable, so at the start of the third, I break through the Liches with her and she runs on 3 Capes of Velocity and 6 skill trees to scout, revealing a fork. And immediately she is met by Taz on 7 Angels (singles). I retreated without paying tribute, but traded my units for 2 Angels. Taz set his sights on me. I drain all resources to zero and throw the army at the last passage - through the Cyclops. At the forefront were zero-level Kalt without a spellbook and Ciele. I decided I needed to build a fighter. I smash through 30 Cyclops, 50-99 Air Elementals, a Hive on 8 skill trees, 10-19 Manticores near a Dragon Utopia on the passage, and... run into a Tower village! I then run into 10-19 Scorpicores:( And at that point I really felt like surrendering because my army had 1 Griffin, 7 Psychos, and 20 each of blue and white shooters remaining, I had scouted many Dragon Utopias but couldn't take them! There was also a lift, but from the scout's viewpoint I could clearly see a road through the desert leading to the computers' swamps and snow... Tazar had turned back in the meantime, and I capture the zek Moner with expert Attack and Logistics - where were you earlier, you handsome devil!!! A couple of battles and he already has Wisdom and Earth. In short, the plan from then on was simple - level up Monya and manage to devour all the Dragon Utopias before the blue player arrives.
I gather my strength only on 211, break 5 Dragon Utopias, have Fire and Air spellbooks, build Giants at the computer's town and take their 2 external dwellings, because I don't have much of an army - I revealed 3 Hives, and start killing demons.
221 I take the sixth Dragon Utopia, 222 - I aim for two more, but from the Tower scout's view I see movement - Tazar on a Fly spell has been hanging around on the rocks for the second day, nearby there's a treasury - doesn't seem too rich. I jump there, chase Taz away - too bad, my tactics turned out weaker. I reach the treasury too, drop 6 out of 10 Angels, there's a ransom. I didn't have enough movement to jump home - I spot Bracers nearby. And then I realize that if Taz wasn't hit by Bron's Curse in the tavern, then soon the whole treasury army will come with the Bracers and tear me to shreds:eek: I had 11 Griffins, 18 Psychos, 10 elementals, 30+ Greater Earth Elementals, singles of Fire Elementals, the steel treasury army was fighting on another front
And indeed, Taz attacks with the Bracers, but the treasury army wasn't impressive, apparently he didn't have enough money to ransom and then buy everything. In the end, I had enough 75 mana to finish off almost everyone with Storm and Implosion and even resurrect the Griffins once:smile16:
Thanks for the game! Thanks for the auto!
