For uploading files, there's a great website: www.multiupload.com. From there, your file is distributed to several file-sharing services at once (Rapidshare, megaupload, depositfiles, etc.). It's very convenient. Torrents.ru is, of course, better for some (including me), but if you need to upload and forget about it, then websites like www.multiupload.com are unmatched.
