Vitalik is undoubtedly a strong player, and it's very interesting to play with him; take, for example, this game, which I really enjoyed. However, as a person, he repels people with his pickiness towards newcomers, his quick temper, and his stinginess. Because of this, we never finished two of our games.
In our games with Vitalik, I didn't notice anything that could be considered cheating, and I have no complaints. Although I agree with many that he is a very experienced player with a good sense for advantageous moves, as in this game of ours:
