Guys, can you tell me what file extension contains the creature parameters and what program can be used to open them?

They are located in the CRTRAITS.txt file.
You can open it with TextEdit.exe or, as a last resort, with Notepad.

After making changes, copy CRTRAITS.txt to the /data/ directory and enjoy pikemen with a speed of 20, damage of 50, and a cost of 1 gold :)
