Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.

I'm curious, what are all these defenders of Vitalik trying to achieve? Do they have a goal? A realistic one? Let's assume the goal is to get Vitalik back into the game. This is unrealistic because: 1) The administration (AK) won't change its opinion on this matter. 2) The administration won't change its opinion on any matter that is lobbied with such poor arguments as those used by Vitalik's defenders. 3) Even if Vitalik's ban is lifted, which of the leading players will invite him to a tournament? And which of the top players will agree to play in a tournament in which Vitalik participates? And who among those who agree won't open the map to "be on equal footing"? And how widespread will cheating become if everyone sees that even such blatant cheating goes unpunished? Think about all of this, fellow defenders. However, I admit that their goal might be simpler: to rant, vent their negativity, show off to the administration in a white coat, and fill a few hours of their lives with something meaningful. This is not forbidden. Even old ladies on a bench need some meaning in their lives. But why are members of the administration participating in this… mess?
