How to effectively use quick battles (autobattles)?

Another question: let's say I have a spell that can't be used even against neutral creatures (like resurrection). I set up an auto-battle and win a difficult battle without any losses. Can I be penalized for this?

I also have a question, or rather, an idea... maybe it's already been explained, but I don't know! - Can auto-battle be activated either by checking a box in the settings, and we see the result of the battle after a couple of seconds, or by attacking as usual and then activating the auto-battle... does anyone know if there's a difference?
