You're getting off-topic... Besides, I always get archers in Stronghold:D... about 13 (or even more) orcs will gather.
There are always some archers for Castle, even without Valeska, and usually 15-20 gather without ambushes, without them, breaking through many guards is a feat on the verge of defeat.
