That's how it was... Although, this scheme is not very suitable for online play, as angels in 60% of cases attacked the knights in the second round.

You might be right, but in my case, they always:
In the first round - attacked 1 Spearman in the middle;
In the second - attacked the main stack of 16 Spearmen;
In the third - 1 Spearman;
In the fourth - the Knight (leaving him with 13 Hit Points);
And then an interesting moment follows.
To prevent the Angel from attacking the Knight, I moved the Spearman to the side. The Angel "followed" and didn't attack the Knight, but attacked the Swordsman.
