What was your first castle in Heroes 3?

My first castle was Inferno. I remember how I tried to take a Lich lair. I surrounded the Magogs with my troops from all sides, not realizing that this would only benefit the Liches. I did manage to take the lair, although with huge losses. Before that, I had some experience playing Heroes 2. I was surprised that all creatures could be upgraded. Now I almost always play as Stronghold.
