I haven't really found anything substantial in anyone's profile yet (except for Neyra, but it's not really relevant to crosswords, and there aren't any 2x5-letter words nearby either:( ). Ple-Sen has crosses, but it doesn't quite fit in with the rest...

But there is "northern lights" (the one above Lizard's house in this newspaper; ) - it's in Arandor's bio, but what could it mean: is he good or bad?:confused:

Oh! maybe this is the hidden meaning of our drawing: crosses after all! I need to dig a little deeper into Ple-Sen based on yesterday's episode. Demons are very much related to the devil's apprentice. All that remains is to figure out the "pond" (if it was actually a "POND" at all!! or perhaps a "scheme" or "drawing"). Another tongue-twister comes to mind: "four little black, grubby little devils drew a drawing with black ink." How do you like this option - or is it too convoluted?...
