I've heard the opinion that Ranged only works at 30, even though it says 50. But I can't be bothered to test it down to the last copper.

100% misconception, because the skill tree is predetermined when the map is generated.

Just now in the game there was a moment when all skills are experted (Offense, Ranged, Tactics, Wisdom, Earth). You can wait for a level-up with a choice between two unknown skills or honestly take Leadership in a witch hut standing by the road.
I'm interested in your opinion.

Well, it depends on what troops you had. If you had units from three castles, and especially undead, then God himself commanded you to take Leadership, but if you had human units, especially with Angels and artifacts for morale, then even Eagle Eye would be more useful :D

But in general, I'm surprised how people (especially those who play poker) don't value Leadership :eek: Is it really not clear how profitable this is in the long run? For poker players' reference: the probability of morale with Expert Leadership is equal to the probability of flopping a set with a pocket pair :D
