How can one murder combine an incredibly simple clue (my nickname) with a much less noticeable one, like Ankh-Morpork? O_o And there's also the river... it's quite a stretch to connect it to the same clue.

Well, the nickname wasn't such an incredibly simple clue after all... it seems no one paid attention to it..
Ankh-Morpork is a perfectly normal clue.
And the river... I dismissed it. The river is probably just a colorful description.
There are three clues pointing to you: Beast, Number 5, and Money.
