Yes, traveling from Siberia to Yekaterinburg is quite a distance. It takes a day by train from Novosibirsk. And the price is accordingly high. But we also have some good Heroes players. Dirty_Player, Dust, maybe someone else. Relatively close to us are Barnaul and Kemerovo, that's Dreamcatcher, Deep Mike... Just off the top of my head. I'm sure they can also remember many others. Maybe, if we get a decent number of people interested, we could hold a qualifying tournament in Novosibirsk? I think it would be preferable for the Siberians. And Yekaterinburg has enough of its own Heroes players :)

How many people do we need to gather to hold a qualifying tournament? And is there a regulation at all? I mean, 10 people have responded in this thread, does that mean there's no interest or no promotion? I'm also in favor of Novosibirsk. I calculated that it takes a day to get to Yekaterinburg and a day back, three days there, a week out of my life, and it's not so much the financial aspect that's important, but the time factor, although I think for many, the financial aspect plays a more important role. Therefore, if the event does take place, we need to recruit potential participants in Novosibirsk as well.
