Surprisingly, no one has mentioned the method of "milking" dragons. This method definitely works in Might and Magic VII and VIII, and, judging by the engine, it should also work in Might and Magic VI. The principle is simple: you need a dragon corpse (Red in Might and Magic VII, or just a Dragon or one with a name in Might and Magic VIII). Save the game, stock up on patience, and collect the loot from the corpse using the spacebar. You get money and a good item, sometimes even an artifact. The corpse disappears. But in rare cases, approximately once in 30 attempts, the corpse does not disappear but remains, and the money and items are collected. To catch this moment, you need to save the game. Algorithm: spacebar - corpse disappears - load the save - spacebar - corpse does not disappear - save - start over. Thanks to this bug, my party in Might and Magic VII on Emerald Island left with half of their equipment consisting of artifacts. It's true that it took almost 30 minutes to kill the dragon with bows, and it took about seven hours to "milk" the corpse. But it was worth it.
