If only they could be sold somewhere for money.
In Tribes of the East, the function to "sell artifacts" appears: you go to the market (there must be a hero with artifacts in the castle), and a third window appears there (in addition to selling resources/sending to another player).
You click on this window and can sell artifacts for half the price of their actual value in the artifact shop.
I also get rid of them this way :p :D.
