There's no arguing that it's more enjoyable to play on TE.
SoD, in my opinion, is for those with stronger spirits and who are ready for 10 Goblins at the start (and, of course, a certain number of losses due to this).

I just thought that since you're reading the thread and writing here, you might also be interested in playing on SoD. And to show that masters of the game (which you undoubtedly are) can also demonstrate their skills on SoD.
