Guys, here's the deal: when playing Heroes online with someone, an error periodically pops up (every one or two turns) - SVCHOST.exe (the instruction at address ***** referenced memory at ******, which could not be "read" or "written").

Is this curable? Or do I have to reinstall Windows again?

P.S: I've run a full virus scan with Kaspersky a couple or three times....
I would suggest installing a different version of the game (if it's SoD, try Platinum and vice versa) and checking how it plays; if that doesn't help, try compatibility mode—nothing else comes to mind for now.
