The philosophy of those who accused the dark elves of setting fire to the capital of Sylvan: "There's no point in figuring out who is really to blame. You can always find a culprit. It's better to blame someone who is dangerous. The dark elves wanted independence, and the spirit of freedom is dangerous. By punishing the dark elves, we kill two birds with one stone: we strike a blow against the independent and discourage the emergence of new states."
