Sacred Haven of Debauchery

It's great to hang out with friends... but until recently, my parents wouldn't let me go out at night at all... it was ridiculous, and it annoyed me that I couldn't even go to a friend's house next door, but now... now I don't even want to go anywhere, even if I'm invited, and even then, it's unlikely. That's the kind of patriarchal attitude it is. Of course, I don't know if it would have been better if they had given me more freedom; I'll never know. :) =
