I don't know, I'm certainly not an expert, but it seems to me that giving Kirry in SoD and playing Stronghold yourself is a bigger gift than external dwellings for horses etc. :) As far as I know, Rampart is among the strongest castles (Ramp, Dungeon, Castle) in SoD, not counting imba Necros and Flax. Tower and Stronghold are considered weak, and often if they are played, it's against each other. Anyway, you gave away a cheater hero and a super castle, took a sketchy Barb that depends heavily on respawn, and now you're unhappy with the balance :) idk :)
