DISCUSSIONS on “Rules for online games in HoMM3 and formulas for calculating player rating.”
But it should be noted that less than half of these 76 games ended in victory. Perhaps the fear of Necropolis is imagined and stems from the early days without rules? What are skeletons worth against excellent ranged units like Kirr with grand creatures, or Valeska?
More likely, Necropolis is given to weak players who are unable to take advantage of its strengths. I recently watched Pit-Vitalik's save from the "Necro vs Flax" tournament, where Pit, playing as Flax, collected around 250 skeletons in the first week with just one Vidomina. And by day 123 or 124, he had already broken the Gate of Oblivion, without any angels or vivs, just skeletons with minimal help from native troops.
