Confirmed.
There was only one troglodyte nest and one harpy nest on the three respawn points. I built troglodyte growth structures + a portal everywhere; there wasn't enough money for anything else.
In the end, I took a Utopia-3 on day 131. I got a sword +5 all. With 40K gold, I built a merchant, bought boots for 20K, and went to the treasure. As always, I'm bad at scouting, so I went in blind. I found 2 hives, on weeks 4 and 8, gloves, and nothing else.
On week 4, I broke through the Guardian Order and captured the opponent's castle. I wanted to either hit with Armageddon on 1230 or summon elementals, but the expert tactics and mass haste of Valerka didn't give me a chance.

Troglodytes alone are not warriors :)
