It's okay, I even used to play with the ninth installment on the front and the tenth on the back, haha! But seriously, that's rude! In such situations, they usually play on the fear of the culprit (Oh, you broke my hand!) to make him pay up... although that's not very nice either.
As for Mortal Kombat, I liked Shao Kahn. I was very amused by his uppercuts. The punch, the heart-wrenching scream of the opponent, the flight beyond the screen, the fall, the screen shake... Isn't that beautiful? And he had a great hammer!
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.
G.K. Chesterton: English Hymnal
