Required files and settings for playing Heroes 4 in multiplayer.

I think I've found the reason... I didn't install it from the disc; I downloaded it first. It's likely that the game is cracked or has a StarForce bypass from Buku. How can I remove it?
P.S. I would gladly buy the disc, but I can't find it anywhere here.
