dmitrik (red, dwarves, Ingvar) defeated raykonen (blue, elves, Anven) – Week 6

It was an interesting game, although I didn't have a great start. The machines haven't been helping my dwarves much in the last few games, so I was playing from behind. On the second day, I moved to the center, took a Utopia on the third day, broke through to the treasury, found another Utopia there, and that was it. There were no artifacts in the treasury, but there were a lot of monsters (I generated a very large one instead of a huge one, so it's my own fault).

On 2-1-1, I broke through to the Guardian of Order. The next day, an angry elf appeared on the other side, so I quickly ran to the Mentor, which a cockroach finally found in the center. I learned the Light spell for Chaos (my dwarf was growing well in magic) and just managed to jump back home. We decided to fight in the field. The elf had no fire resistance, which was lucky for me. However, in my excitement, I cast two Armageddon spells instead of one, when I should have resurrected someone. As a result, Michael raised archers and fled. I went to his Castle; the battle was tough, but I finally finished him off, and teleportation helped a lot.
