Tactics for the Stronghold.

A very interesting Castle, but I still can't master it properly. I start with Gurney. Is this a good choice, or are creatures like Creggs, Tyraxors, and Jabberwocks better? (I'm talking about SoD, of course). So far, I've come to the conclusion that the strongest move on level 111 is to upgrade the "hooligans" (even if the wolves are already there). Am I thinking correctly? The "technology" of taking the bird nest with minimal troops is not entirely clear to me:confused:. Anyone have any advice?
Well, I'll try to offer some advice ;) I think the most versatile tactic is to start with Gurney, upgrade the birds on levels 112-113, and then Gurney easily defeats (within reasonable limits) mobile monsters with ballista-archer birds, some battles are fought with the entire army, but most only with birds. The bird nest is taken very easily, you just need to have at least advanced artillery. In one of the last games, I took the first bird nest with 1 bird and 5 goblins, losing 3 goblins, without magic. I don't consider goblins to be good as shock troops, even when upgraded, as well as wolves (there are exceptions, of course), so I rarely upgrade them, and never in the first week (well, maybe someday I'll upgrade them if I get a Gretchen and a lot of goblins). Ideally, I think that when playing as barbarians, you should have at least two shock heroes in the first week, and possibly later. For example, Gurney runs around with birds, and some Dessa with all the other troops, combining forces only for the most difficult battles. In the first week, you need to try to place bears in the Castle (at least in the fort), otherwise it will be difficult later. However, if you have a native secondary hero or a bird nest, then this is a valid reason not to build bears. That's roughly it. If you have any more questions, I'll try to answer them ;)
Всем удачи ! И Морали !
