Yes, it was. I don't even know if I could have done anything to counter it.
My opponent had speed boots, a bunch of artifacts for mana and magic power, plus the chain spell and implosion in the Grand Mage level. Against counterattack, fire shield, and sacrifice, I had nothing.
Also, at the beginning of the game, I took Thant to have Animate Dead, I wanted to make him my main hero, but for some reason, he had Wave of Death instead of Animate Dead, and his skills were advanced Necromancy right away. Why was that?
