The first Heroes is a fairy tale! Stunning fairytale graphics, voice acting on the map. Though I never actually got to hear the music and soundtracks. :(

And was anyone able to beat JollyRoger without saves and with the king of the hill option? Because I beat it and I know one other guy who did too. :)

I had to install Win3.11 for this game, because my 386 only had 4MB on board, and Heroes needed 6! :) But Windows already had virtual memory :)
Just imagine - you click on a Castle, and the image takes 30 sec. to load! You had to think through every turn first, and then click somewhere with the mouse :)

In general, Vivat HEROES of Might&Magic, Vivat, Vivat!!!

PS (Oh how I loved the druids and hated the trolls) :)
