Let me summarize some of the interim results of the survey. About 30 people have already actively participated in it.
Regarding the first question – about the nominations.
Players clearly support the "Rookie of the Year" and "Player of the Year" nominations, and there is also a desire to reward someone who has made a significant contribution to the development of online HOMM3 throughout the year.
The "Clan of the Year" nomination did not receive support. Perhaps we will return to this issue at some point.
The "Best Player for each of the 9 races in Heroes3" nomination is of interest to almost everyone; we still need to think about it and discuss it. Similarly, rewarding active participation in online tournaments – we still need to consider this.
Let's start with the "Rookie-2008" nomination. We discussed the details with Kash yesterday. ABI is ready to start working on it and will soon determine the competition rules and create a topic in the Tournament section.
Personally, I envision the award here as a Golden Chalice under the avatar – you can take a miniature from the game – a helmet-chalice, and the image – a beautiful, shiny golden chalice with the inscription "Rookie-2008". I'm not very good at drawing, so I won't undertake to materialize the idea. And the nomination can be called "Golden Chalice - 2008".
Other suggestions for the award would also be interesting. Please suggest them.
We could announce a competition for the description of the image and the image itself.
The fourth question – defining a rookie. This is what I'm trying to figure out for ABI ;) – Kash, take note, maybe it will be useful. There are some interesting ideas.

"a rookie is someone who, on average (playing with medium-strength castles, on a standard map), cannot capture Utopia on the 4th week."
Last summer, I had the idea to organize a tournament where the condition for winning the game was to capture Utopia as early as possible. Perhaps ABI will come up with something sensible and interesting about this.
Psyche_7
A person who:
- is not in the TOP-10;
- has not been in the top 3 in any tournament (or a larger range, depending on the number of participants);
- has played less than 20 ranked games or 10 tournament games;
- has never won against more than 1 player from the current TOP-10 or the winner of any tournament.
This applies to HW; it is also necessary to check other resources.
Dirty_Player
A rookie is a person who has played less than 10 online games or has a rating below 1400 after 10 games. (Something like that. The numbers need to be clarified!)
ZYbr
a player with little or no experience playing online.
Деконтаминатор
a rookie is someone who has recently appeared on the Heroes3-online forum and is not a regular on other similar sites.

a rookie is a person who has been playing HMM against the computer for 6 years and has only recently realized that you can also play it online, and he is in a state of shock when he learns how it works. In short, in my opinion, an HW rookie is a person who is not familiar with online HMM but is well familiar with HMM itself.
Alex_R
An HW rookie is a user who has less than 3 wins against players who are not HW rookies.
Smoke_mk
a rookie in online/offline games is someone who has not only just come to the forum but also does not know the rules and intricacies of online/offline games.

4. A rookie is a player for whom it is important to know his level of play, who has questions during the game: "Why...", but who cannot answer them himself due to inexperience and lack of knowledge of many tricks. Moreover, this player should not be afraid to ask such questions to players of the following "categories": middle-level players, top players, legends.
Regarding the second and third questions – about the main tournament and rewarding the winners – I haven't summarized the results yet.
