For example, I've probably played only 1 or 2 games in the rating system in total. (Well, I don't play often – nothing can be done about it!).
If a person rarely plays regular games (due to lack of time), it's unlikely that they will suddenly start playing tournament games often (at least, not on time).
So, should I not be taken seriously? Should I not be allowed to participate in the tournament?
Yes.
But how will I then get those 10 tournament games??? :smile10: Nooo... this criterion, in my opinion, is not valid in all situations.
I meant that at the time of introduction (if it happens) of such a rule, some people will have played the required number of tournament games, and others will have played rating games...
