How do you feel about Rissa as a starting hero for the Tower faction? After all, one of the most pressing problems is finding resources to build mages and nagas. If you take the pearl bonus and Rissa at the start, then the issue of two resources is solved; you only need to obtain crystals and sulfur from neutral creatures. This saves time and prevents heroes from being stretched too thin when these resources are scarce. Plus, Rissa also has attack, mysticism, and archery in her spellbook.
