Confirmed. I killed my computer's Tower on the first week, but both spawns are very sad — one tree somewhere far away in the snowdrifts. Further on, the road presumably to the orange and undefined-color computers is guarded by a horde of zombies, but they are amicably protected by a group of Efreeti at the metro exit. In the other direction, a batch of greased flies (+2 mana) and Air Elementals (imp trash), and there's nothing to do there anyway — too late for a rest on meeting, and no army. On week 2, I hit the Efreeti, capture the orange Necromancer, see a Griffin Conservatory, a tree, a stable. I dive into the metro, immediately see a shield +6, a Griffin Conservatory, and a Dragon Utopia. Bronch, having taken the Tower, turned back, so first I shake another tree (max), and only after that the Dragon Utopia. It gave Tome of Water, Cap of Fifth, Titan's Cuirass, and Boots of Speed. Shakti has Expert Water, but only 4 mana and Knowledge 3. Somehow I start jumping using the whirlpool in the starting area, + Wei captures a barbarian of undefined color, next to which is a mana well. I took 3 more Dragon Utopias and, seeing Bronch's advantage in meat, made a mistake: refused Wisdom in favor of Logistics in the last slot, even though I had Expert Fire with Frenzy and presumably +3 Speed for the first turn. The Tome of Fire was never given. On month 5, Septien with Vampires took 5 trees in 2 days for about 40 WW, but Bronch is still ahead in meat. I accepted my fate and went to die. In the final, without Berserker, no chance.
As the post-mortem revealed, +4, +3 to all stats (lacking for Alliance) and Tome of Fire were in the fifth Dragon Utopia, which the Vampires didn't reach by just a tiny bit, having gone to shake WW.
