And then: where is the port city?

The port city is located at the bottom in the center, slightly to the right of Duncan's "Dungeon".
Personally, I played it this way: I captured a dwarven city along the way and immediately headed to the
"Dungeon". I took the city in the center of the map, started developing it,
captured all the mines, etc., in the area to generate income,
built all the archer and swordsman towers and everything else possible, and only then, after accumulating a decent army, I freed Duncan.
According to the quest, both Duncan and Frida must survive,
and at the beginning, they don't have enough troops together, so I simply
hid Duncan in the "Sanctuary":smile43:
Frida "grazed" near the garrison, guarding against the enemy, the purchased
hero gathered reinforcements, and another of your cities will appear at the top right of the map; I started "capturing" everything useful from it...
Well, and then, after capturing all the cities, I stormed the garrison and the port city...:smile44: :smile44: :smile44:
