P.S. by the way, can a courtesan give orders to a captain? The rules state that she relays instructions from higher-ranking individuals.
A recruited captain becomes a regular assassin and cannot be recruited again. Orders are given to the spy, who can be recruited.
O God of Earth and Altar,
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.
