I need to study Russian in depth at the university, and then have a job where I can write my own books.

If it's related to journalism, you'll have to submit to LitRes, and you'll be overwhelmed with all the reading. I only remember reading "White Nights" from my school curriculum; I skimmed through the rest in summaries. By the way, I never finished "War and Peace," even in a summarized version.

And traveling to different countries would be cool too, to see Stonehenge, the pyramids (in the UAE and Egypt), maybe visit Greece, and then travel through Scandinavia.

Novgorod, Kyiv? I like ancient Russian history...
