Heroes of Might & Magic III: Horn of the Abyss

Why are they taking so long? They promised to release something in the first quarter.

I'm just a regular user, not involved in the development, but these kinds of statements somehow annoy me. It seems disrespectful to the people who want to please fans of Heroes of Might and Magic III with a quality add-on for free.
To be clear, no one made any promises to anyone. They talked about a tentative release date.
And Professor, I hope you'll forgive me for this kind of "anti-advertising":o
